Derby Daybreak Rotary Club raises £4,000 for EMICS

We are grateful to Derby Daybreak Rotary Club for raising £4,000 to help us invest in equipment that will strengthen our lifesaving work. Their hard work over the last two years and generous support will ensure that our volunteer doctors have the tools to provide critical care and give patients the best possible chance of survival.
But what exactly are we investing in? Stay tuned to find out in the coming weeks.
Dr Tim Gray MBE, Founder of EMICS said: “Thanks to Derby Daybreak’s support, we’re equipping our volunteer doctors with even more advanced tools to deliver critical, life-changing care. This investment ensures we can deliver faster, more sophisticated critical care when the community needs us most.”
Derby Daybreak Rotary Club has had EMICS as one of their main charities for two years. They said “we have enjoyed meeting with the team and discovering how EMICS operates and seeing the equipment on board the fast response vehicle. We were excited to have a target to aim for in terms of funds required for a particular piece of equipment. It is great to know that the money raised will have such a direct impact on emergency care in our community. To see our efforts help save real people’s lives is something to be truly proud of.”
EMICS looks forward to sharing updates—stay tuned.
