EMICS has partnered up with Run For Heroes to bring you their latest challenge: 5KMay.
Throughout the month of May we are encouraging you to get active in the name of charity. It’s all about setting yourself a goal and hitting that 5K target. Even better, your 5K target can be achieved in any format, over as many sessions as you need it to. You can run, walk, cycle, swim, skip, hop, crawl – the options are limitless.
If you feel 5K is an easy target, then feel free to complete as many 5Ks as you want, just remember to donate £5 to your chosen charity for each 5K you complete. If 5K seems like a big target, no need to worry, you can split this distance into smaller targets. It may be you’d prefer to set yourself a target of 1K a day for 5 days.
You have the whole of May to complete your challenge! Having completed your challenge simply nominate 5 friends or family members to complete their own 5k challenges. Don’t forget to take your selfie and tag us on social media when you’re done!
